Alex originally hails from Ontario, where he graduated with his RVT degree from Algonquin College. He relocated to Kamloops in 2021 where he joined the Riverside team soon after. 

Alex has a passion for wildlife rehabilitation, and has volunteered at several wildlife facilities including the Kamloops Wildlife Park. 

He spends the rest of his spare time running, biking, and orienteering in the hills around Kamloops.

He has a green cheek conure at home named Ruby, and a rescue cat named Merlin who was brought in to Riverside after being hit by a car.
