Education: Western College of Veterinary Medicine

Shannon moved to Kamloops and completed a Bachelor in Animal Biology in 2009. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Dr. Gruen then worked in rural Saskatchewan and Saskatoon until moving back to Kamloops in 2019. 

Outside of veterinary medicine she loves spending time with her partner and her two sons. She has an ever changing menagerie of animals that always has to include cats!
