Moon

Moon
On April 8th, 2026, this sweet boy's journey took a heartbreaking turn when he was surrendered to Twin Rivers Animal Hospital after the discovery of a broken femur at 7 months old. His family loved him, but making that decision is never easy and it speaks volumes about how much they cared for him.
With determination and compassion, Twin Rivers reached out to us at Riverside Small Animal Hospital for help. This was a complex orthopedic case and without hesitation, Dr. Pihowich - our incredible and ever-growing orthopedic surgeon queen - stepped in to give Moon the chance he deserved.
April 9th, 2026, we were able to do just that.
We are beyond grateful to have been part of Moon's story. But the truth is, this wouldn't have been possible without YOU -- Our amazing clients and community. Donations to the Gloria Fraser Fund, the Karissa Wilson Fund, and Four Paws Food Bank Foundation made it possible for Moon to receive the life-changing surgery he needed, as well as the Oscar Fund at Twin Rivers Animal Hospital that is helping take care of this little man.
Because of the generosity, Moon is no longer broken… He is on his way to a happy, healthy, four legged life.
