Captain Crunch visited our clinic in October 2023 after initially presenting with some urinary trouble and vomiting.  As a young cat still under a year old, his issues were quite concerning. He was quite painful in his abdomen and continued to deteriorate. After learning from his owner that he likes to eat things he shouldn't and doing some x-rays, we concluded that he likely had an abdominal blockage! Is was imperative we get him into surgery to locate and remove the object as soon as possible. With the help of the Karissa Wilson Fund covering some of the costs, the owners were able to afford the surgery. Sure enough, we found what looked like a Nerf dart inside Captain! After a couple days of recovery, Captain Crunch went home happy and healthy!
