Education: Western College of Veterinary Medicine 

Brigitte was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. She completed her veterinary degree in Saskatoon at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Post graduation, she returned home and pursued a career in mixed animal practice for 2 years. 

Brigitte and her partner, Jake, and their two dogs (Vinny and Gremlin), relocated from the prairies to Kamloops in 2022 following Jake’s acceptance to the law program at TRU. During her first year in Kamloops, Brigitte worked as a locum veterinarian, rotating between multiple clinics around the city. Having thoroughly enjoyed her shifts at Riverside, she elected to finally join the team on a permanent basis during the academic year. During the summer months, Brigitte returns home to her family farm, where she continues to provide locum services to local clinics. On her off time, Brigitte enjoys riding her horses, walking her dogs, yoga, and spending time with family.
