Emma

Emma came to us initially in September 2023 for some pretty severe skin problems. She was itchy, uncomfortable and had several crusty lesions covering her body that were causing her to lose her hair. Emma was in and out of the hospital multiple times while we tried to get a handle on what was causing her issues. After much trial and error, it was decided the best course of action to get some answers for Emma would be to do some skin biopsies and send them away for pathology. With some assistance from the Karissa Wilson Fund, we were able to make this procedure possible. With some of the information from the pathology and diligent work by Dr. Carrigan, we were able to come up with an effective treatment plan for Emma. According to Emma's family, she has been doing very well at home with her treatments; her skin is almost completely cleared up and her coat is growing back! Keep up the good work Emma!
